  • THE AUTHOR
    David Kibble Rees

The author is a subscribing or honorary member of over a hundred lodges, chapters, conclaves, chapels and councils throughout the world and a member of most masonic Orders and societies. During more than forty years in freemasonry he has filled every office from 'candidate' to Grand Master. His working life was divided equally between the army and education, but retirement provided the opportunity to pursue his interest in writing and research. He holds degrees and post-graduate qualifications from several universities, and is a regular contributor to masonic publications and research societies in the U.K. and overseas.
